Host Country
The Global Olympiad Center (GOC) is excited to host the International Economics Olympiad 2025, reinforcing its commitment to fostering student passion for science and education globally. Established on August 14, 2022, GOC operates under Azerbaijan's educational strategy endorsed by President Ilham Aliyev. Its mission is to enhance students' knowledge and global competitiveness through engaging international competitions. With partnerships in over 40 countries and more than 20 successful olympiads, GOC impacted over 21 thousand students last year alone. GOC focuses on nurturing talents and creating enriching experiences, preparing to welcome young economists from around the world and providing opportunities for future leaders.
Host Organization
One of the top universities in Azerbaijan will host IEO 2025. As a leader in the country's education sector, this higher education institution provides an excellent environment for the event. Equipped with modern facilities and innovative teaching methods that inspire academic excellence, the university will ensure a high-quality experience for all participants.
Examination Venue
The selected accommodation venues are located in the central area of Baku, particularly around Nizami Street. This prime location ensures that participants have easy access to the competition venues while also providing convenient opportunities for sightseeing and leisure activities. The accommodations will feature a range of room types, including double and triple rooms, designed to offer comfortable lodging suitable for various group sizes. Detailed information regarding capacity and room types will be finalized and confirmed in November, 2024.

Check if your country is listed in the Participants section of our website. If it is, contact your national Coordinator for further information. If it is not, reach out to us via the Contact form naming your country. It is possible that we have potential partners in your country which haven’t been officially accepted yet.
